A Passion for Pups

Dashing Doodles began with a simple belief: every family deserves a companion that brings joy, laughter, and unconditional love into their home. We are a small, family-run breeding program dedicated exclusively to Goldendoodles.

Our puppies are doggie door trained, surrounded by the everyday sounds and activities of a busy family. This early socialization is the cornerstone of our program, ensuring that your new puppy arrives confident, adaptable, and ready to immediately bond with you.

We prioritize health, temperament, and genetic soundness above all else. Every puppy goes home with our 1-year health guarantee.

So happy with her! She definitely lets us know when she needs to use the restroom and sleeps the entire night which I found unbelievable!!!! Thank you again for making my family whole.

Our family had been on the search for a Goldendoodle for a while and came across Dashing Doodles in a Google search. Ginger was prompt at responding to messages and her information packs are incredibly helpful.

Ginger and Dashing Doodles were great! She was very responsive and flexible with scheduling a pick-up time. I can tell they started potty training because our mini Goldendoodle will cry or immediately go as soon as she’s in the yard.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything families ask before bringing home a Dashing Doodles puppy.

What breeds do you raise?

We specialize exclusively in Goldendoodles — primarily F1BB mini and medium sizes. F1BBs carry roughly 87.5% Poodle genetics, making them one of the most low-shedding and allergy-friendly doodle generations.

Where are you located?

We’re a small, family-run, veteran- and women-owned program based in Zebulon, North Carolina — about 30 minutes east of Raleigh.

How much do your puppies cost, and how do I reserve one?

Pricing varies by litter, size, and coat. Each available puppy’s final price is listed on its individual page. A non-refundable deposit reserves your puppy through Stripe, and the remaining balance is due in cash on the day of pick-up.

Do you health test your breeding dogs?

Yes. Every one of our breeding dogs is genetically health-screened through Embark, which tests for 197 genetic health conditions across the Golden Retriever and Poodle lines. We make these results public so you can verify them yourself, before you ever place a deposit:

Open any link to see that dog’s actual Embark results.

What does your health guarantee cover, and for how long?

Your puppy is guaranteed against life-threatening congenital or hereditary genetic disorders for one (1) year from the date of purchase. If a licensed veterinarian certifies such a condition within that year, and you notify us within five business days, we provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value.

The guarantee covers a replacement; it does not include refunds or veterinary expense reimbursement, and it does not cover non-genetic conditions like parasites, kennel cough, or allergies. Every puppy also goes home having been examined by a licensed veterinarian, with full deworming and vaccination records in the puppy pack.

Do you do OFA hip and elbow testing?

No, we don’t currently carry OFA orthopedic certifications on our dogs. Our health verification is genetic — through Embark — rather than radiographic. Goldendoodles draw from breeds with variable hip health, so rather than imply there’s no risk, we back our puppies directly through the one-year health guarantee described above, which covers life-threatening congenital and hereditary conditions. We’d rather tell you exactly what we do and don’t test for than leave you guessing.

Can I come meet the parent dogs?

We’d love to introduce you — and we do it by live video rather than in-person visits. We made that change after foot traffic to our property contributed to parvovirus exposure, and protecting our puppies, whose immune systems aren’t fully developed yet, has to come first. So we offer a live Zoom meet-and-greet where you can see the parents, see where the puppies are raised, and ask us to show you anything you’d like in real time. We’re glad to set this up before you place a deposit.

At what age do puppies go home?

Puppies go home at 8 weeks old. Before they leave us, they begin doggie-door training and complete Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Puppy Culture socialization protocols.

How does your application and matching process work?

Submit our short application telling us about your family, lifestyle, home, and what you’re looking for in a companion. We personally review every application and match families with the puppy best suited to their household — we don’t operate on a strict first-come, first-served basis.

What goes home with my puppy?

Each puppy goes home with vaccination and deworming records, a transition food sample, a blanket, our 1-year health guarantee, and lifetime breeder support.

Do you ship puppies?

We don’t ship puppies as cargo. Most families pick up in person at our home. For qualified destinations, we can help coordinate a professional flight nanny or ground delivery at the buyer’s expense.

Are Goldendoodles truly hypoallergenic?

No dog is 100% hypoallergenic, but our F1BB Goldendoodles are low-shedding and are very well tolerated by most families with mild to moderate allergies. We always recommend spending time around a similar coat type before committing.

What temperament should I expect?

Goldendoodles are typically affectionate, intelligent, eager-to-please, and excellent with children and other pets. We breed for stable temperament alongside health, and our in-home environment produces confident, family-ready puppies.

How long is the waitlist?

Wait times vary by litter and color preference. Once you’re approved, we let you know where you stand and what timelines look like for upcoming litters. Many of our families are matched within one or two litters.

What are your values?

Dashing Doodles is run by Sterling and Ginger Mull — a veteran and a homemaker raising puppies the same way we’d want to be sold one ourselves. We love this country, we love our church, and we love the dogs we raise, but none of that is a sales pitch — it’s just how we built the business. We try to treat every family who reaches out the way we’d want to be treated if we were the ones spending a lot of money on a new puppy and trusting a stranger to do right by us. That means honest answers, plain-English contracts, transparent health testing, and being reachable after you take your puppy home. If you share those values, you’ll feel at home with us. If you don’t, you’ll get the same dog and the same support.

What do families who’ve gotten puppies from you say?

You can read unfiltered reviews from our past families on platforms we don’t control:

We’d always rather you hear from the families who’ve actually raised one of our puppies than just take our word for it.
