This puppy has been examined by a licensed veterinarian prior to sale. Deworming and vaccination records are included in your puppy pack. If, within one (1) year from the date of purchase, the puppy is certified by a licensed veterinarian to have a congenital or hereditary disorder that is life-threatening to the health of the animal, and the Breeder is notified within five (5) business days of that determination, the Breeder will provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value. The buyer may be asked to provide the supporting veterinary documentation. This guarantee is non-transferable. This guarantee provides for a replacement puppy; it does not include refunds or reimbursement of veterinary expenses. It does not guarantee adult size or weight, and does not cover non-genetic or non-life-threatening conditions, including but not limited to: intestinal parasites (coccidia, giardia, tapeworms, hookworms, roundworms), kennel cough, pneumonia, ear or skin mites, mange, cherry eye, allergies, or hernias. --- ## Your Veterinarian Examination We strongly encourage you to have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian of your choice within three (3) days of taking the puppy home. If your veterinarian identifies a serious congenital health condition within this window, contact us right away — we will work with you in good faith to make it right, up to and including taking the puppy back. We want you to feel fully confident in your puppy's health from day one. --- ## Caring for Your New Puppy Your puppy is still very young and its immune system is still developing. The stress of leaving its familiar environment can sometimes cause temporary upset, so please keep your puppy warm, comfortable, and under close observation during the transition. Avoid drafts from air conditioning, cold walls, doors, or windows. If you notice anything out of the ordinary, please bring your puppy to a veterinarian. **Vaccination & deworming schedule:** A rabies vaccine should be given between 4 and 6 months of age. Your puppy will need booster shots at 9–10 weeks and again at 12–15 weeks; the booster should be given within 4 to 6 weeks of the first vaccination, as maternal antibodies have worn off by this point. Your puppy was wormed between 2 and 8 weeks of age and should receive one more treatment at the time of the booster (10–12 weeks old). --- ## Our Lifetime Commitment We care about every puppy we place for its entire life. If you are ever unable to keep your dog, we ask that you contact us first. The dog may be rehomed if a suitable new home is available; otherwise, we will take the dog back. Under no circumstances should the dog be surrendered to an animal shelter — we will always resume ownership before that happens. --- ## General Terms No warranty or representation has been made regarding this puppy except as set forth in writing in this agreement. This contract is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, and venue shall be in Nash County, North Carolina.
